Therefore, to ensure the reliability of the communication power supply system, the qualified communication departments should try their best to introduce two-way mains power input from two different places, and set up two-way mains power automatic switching devices; High frequency switch rectifier equipment with high reliability shall be selected for all equipment, modular and hot plug structure shall be adopted to facilitate replacement, and backup equipment shall be reasonably configured. Any new technology and equipment shall not enter the power supply system before full verification and trial operation. The power supply mode should vigorously promote decentralized power supply. Communication equipment using the same DC voltage should use more than two independent power supply systems, which is also a new requirement for the continuous expansion of the capacity and scale of communication networks and the introduction of new industries in the future. In order to shorten the mean time to repair equipment failures as much as possible, it is necessary to frequently analyze operating parameters, predict the time of failures and eliminate them in a timely manner. We should also improve the level of technical maintenance, and adopt centralized maintenance, remote signaling and telemetering maintenance.
The implementation of centralized monitoring and management is an inevitable trend of the development of network technology, a requirement of modern communication networks, and an effective measure for enterprises to reduce staff and increase efficiency. All kinds of power supply equipment shall be intelligent, standardized and conform to open communication protocol. In the implementation process, the setting of the three remote points should be reasonable. The more the better, the reliability and practicality should be the basic principles. In this respect, our station has realized unattended power supply by automatically sending paging messages to maintenance personnel when the power supply system has obstacles through remote signaling, telemetry, remote centralized maintenance and other functions of the power supply system.
